Finding Your Inner Peace: The Boulder Crest Virginia location provides science-backed training and a place for veterans, first responders, and their families to rediscover themselves and one other
Family R&R: They know firsthand the sacrifices and stresses of military and veteran families, which is why they dedicate nearly 50% of their calendar to Family Rest & Reconnection at their two beautiful Boulder Crest locations.

Front Line Foundations
Front Line Foundations supports mindfulness-based resiliency skills education for veterans and first responders that focuses on post-traumatic growth.
Rooted in a deep understanding of how trauma and the stress response affect the body and mind, they have developed a holistic approach for the treatment of post-traumatic stress, using ancient practices such as meditative movement, breath work, meditation, and time in nature.
Five-Day Mindfulness Education Program: a peer-supported outpatient program that takes place in a classroom setting. The mindfulness skills that they practice during the program help to reduce anxiety, build internal resiliency, and allow the body to regulate itself naturally.
Individual Therapy: three clinicians who see for individual therapy at their office in Bellows Falls, Vermont.
In-Service Trainings: with a purpose to provide education regarding the effects of repeated exposure to trauma while on the job as a first responder. To teach, demonstrate, and practice simple and effective resiliency skills that will improve quality of life and job satisfaction.
Gary Sinise Foundation
They serve our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need.
They do this by creating and supporting unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.
Some of the Many Ways They Serve:
Custom Home Building | Featuring smart technology and specialized features for America’s most severely wounded heroes. Each 100% mortgage-free home eases the challenges faced daily by our heroes and the families who sacrifice alongside them.
Educating the Next Generation | bringing students to places where history becomes real, from museums to memorials. Through firsthand accounts from veterans, first responders, and those who lived it, they gain a deeper understanding of the true cost of freedom
First Responder Support | Our firefighters, police, and EMTs are indispensable to keeping our communities safe. Many perform their dangerous jobs without critical equipment and resources in departments that are underfunded.
Shields & Stripes
The Shields & Stripes program is designed to restore the lives of our nation’s Veterans and First Responders through a team-based, holistic approach to healing
The Shields & Stripes program is a no-cost, holistic rehabilitation initiative for U.S. military veterans and first responders that combines a three-week in-person immersive experience with nine weeks of structured telehealth support to address physical, mental, and emotional healing. It uses a team-based approach including mental health counseling, physical and occupational therapy, nutrition, strength training, yoga, and peer support to help participants build resilience and improve overall well-being.
