
Chasing Zero 1st Annual 5.5k
This year we’re adding a 5.5k event to help reach out 2024 fundraising goal! On October 6th, individuals and Teams of 2 or 4 will run/walk as many laps of a 5.5k course as they can in 2 hours and 22 minutes. This year’s race is sponsored by American Legion Post 293 in Purcellville, VA, Loudoun Milling and Feed and JCC Plumbing, NoVA Light Pros, LazE Hill Farm, Sterling Soccer Club, Car Contracting, and Kids Under Construction Preschool.

You will receive all of your race day information once both steps are complete via email! 100% of registration fees go directly to fund Chasing Zero’s work to support veteran and first responder mental health.
Course
Our beautiful 3.4 mile (5.5k) course will take you through country roads in Western Loudoun and part of the WO&D trail, passing through Paeonian Springs and Hamilton, VA. Each individual or relay team must complete as many laps as they can in 2 hours and 22 minutes. Strollers and dogs are welcome on the course! All racers must be respectful of the other patrons using the WO&D trail during that portion of the race.
Race Day Details
Packet pick up will be Friday, October 4th and Saturday October 5th from 4 – 6pm at American Legion Post 293 in Purcellville, VA.
6am – 8am – Coffee and donuts at host table, set-up course markers and all signs, raffle baskets and items on table, sponsors set up tents, etc.
7:45am – volunteers in spots and ready to go, parking begins at Dale Lumber
8am – 1pm – finish line vendor area open, DJ/music on main stage, American Legion selling food (bagels, pulled pork sandwiches, dogs/beer
8am – Packet pickup and race-day registration begins
8:40am – Warmup led by veterans and National Anthem with local color guard
9am – Race start
11:22am – Race closes, all racers can finish their current lap
11:45pm – Awards ceremony on main stage for Top 3 winners in each category
12pm – Tear down and cleanup, head to American Legion for drinks afterwards (Chris’s crew is going to Harvest Gap)

Chasing ZERO 4th Annual 22-Mile Walk
Join us for our 4th annual 22 mile walk to help raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention amongst our military and first responders. There will be music, food, raffles, games and much more entertainment. Come out and walk as much or as little as you like as we continue to chase our goal of ZERO suicides among our Guardians. This year's funds will support Guardian Revival!

Brattleboro Football Salute to Service Game
Come and support Brattleboro Football on their home opener and fill the stadium with your support for our Military and First Responders. Let’s kick off the season by showing appreciation for our Nations, and our community’s, Guardians. There will be a 50/50 raffle called at half time with 100% of proceeds going to help our guardians dealing with hidden visible and hidden battles.
